The Samaritan Woman

A thought-provoking perspective on familiar Gospel stories told from the point of view of the people living during the time period whose lives were affected by their encounters with Jesus. Easy to read within a few hours, I really enjoyed this historical Biblical based story of romantic fiction. The characters were endearing, and the town providing an interesting setting. It was especially eye-opening to see how poorly women were treated, and how few rights they had, in Jesus's lifetime.
