If you want the Rolling Stones tracks ('62 to '87) reviewed (as part of an album, not one-by-one) in less than 100 pages of text, you'll really enjoy this engaging book. I wish the Publisher could have decided on smaller type, which could have allowed Joe Benson to provide more detailed analysis, and include an exact recording session date [at least month and year] for each track - if you want to know when they cut "Poison Ivy", it's not here; and he says to cross-reference the track to it's previous listing - it was previously unreleased on l.p.! Well, that's no biggie. What really hurts is saying "Metamorphosis" was lousy: Love those "oddballs"!!
