So Sad, But Good

I haven't had a book catch me quite like this one did in a while. Parts of it were really sad and I think that's what got me the most. Roisin Melville is captured by famous highwayman, Ewan Hamilton, when she refuses to hand over her jewels or be shot. Instead she shot him and the injured highwayman demanded that she bind his wounded shoulder. The next night she is at a ball with her cousin where she thinks she sees the highwayman, only to be informed that he's Christopher "Kit", Lord Westhaven. While talking to him they hear the news that Ewan Hamilton has been captured and Kit turns pale. Everything is not what it seems and tragedy is about to hit Kit who knows more about Ewan Hamilton then he is about to let on. This book may not be for everyone, but I really liked it.
