The Riddle of the Outlaw Bear and Other Faith-Building Stories

I received this book as a present when I was 10. Seventeen years later its still one of my favorites. I have used the book in kids chapel services and the kids still remembered the story a couple of months later. This week I used it for an adult devotional and one of the adults copied down the name of the book so they could buy it! I love this book, because it confronts head on the "hard" questions and doubts that people have about Christianity and does so in an incredibly effective and vivid way. A wonderful way to help kids (and adults) to develop a logically consistent, Christian worldview!

Leeper has written a work that is LOVED (and I use that word advisedly) by every child to whom I have read it. Leeper presents a reasonable response to objections that many would raise against the plausability of the truth of Christianity. Furthermore, he does it in such a way that even children can understand it. Through the use of delightful fables, Leeper prepares children for many of the objections that the world raises against Christianity. There are one or two points of doctrinal emphasis that I would change if I were writing it. But, then, I didn't write it, did I? Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this work to any parent or teacher who desires to provide his/her children with a reasonable defense for their faith in Christ
