I have been applying to work in a highly competitive company for months. My resume is literally stacked up against hundreds of other applicants. An excellent resource with all the tools you will need to get started on your job search. It is a must read primer those without a resume, first-time job seekers, or those who have been out of the market for a while.

I picked up this book used to get me started writing my first resume. It offered serveral examples of good resumes, along with a few bad. It also offered examples of cover letters. I found the book very informative. The introduction set a good foundation for me to focus on while writing the resume. I was very happy with the results and would definitely recommend this book.

There are examples of both good and bad resumes along with a realistic step by step guide to building a resume. This book is good for a first time resume writer, but it is especially good for someone who hasn't been on the job market in awhile. You will be able to send your resume out with confidence.
