The Rescue [With CD]

The story is about Angus McGregor, a kind Scotsman who come across an injured bear in the woods, on his way home after fishing one day. To his surprise, Angus discovers he can communicate with animals and tends to the bear's wounds. The bear, Henry, is witty and curious to learn about Angus' Scottish heritage. Great read for parents and children of all ages. The subtitle "The adventures of Angus McGregor Series" leads one to believe there will be others, but apparently James Cochrane has not written any more in this series.
