A great survey of Renaissamce art

This book has some of the best reproductions and photographs of art that I have seen. It's nice that all the images are in color. Thanks to the large format of the book, most of the images are of a large size. Stefano Zuffi does a good job of explaining why each piece is important and influential to Western culture and civilization. The writing is clear and concise and easy to understand. I am upset with how much I have paid in the past, for lesser quality text books, when I was in art school. This book is exceptional for it's price.
