Three in one

I never get enough of Karen Kingsbury's books, so it was great having three books in one cover. The price was also right.

Simply Beautiful!!

As usual Karen is just inspiring. Each story is more beautiful than the last. What a wonderful book to bring out each Christmas season and reread and give as gifts to people you love, or people who need love! I recommend it highly to all, woman and men alike! The first story will be a major movie next season!!

These will become your Christmas classics

Reviewed by Cherie Fisher for Reader Views (12/06) The "Red Gloves Collection" is four beautifully written Christmas stories that will warm your heart forever. The author, Karen Kingsbury, has compiled her four Red Gloves Christmas classics into one volume. The stories all have the same themes in common, Christmas miracles, red gloves and discovering love. At first glance, the book seems overwhelming with over 600 pages, but the print is large and the stories can be quickly read. Or it could be that they were so wonderful that I could not wait to turn the pages to find out what would happen next. The first book in the series is "Gideon's Gift." The story starts at Gideon's wedding which is a miracle in itself. As an 8-year old girl, Gideon fought and almost lost her life to leukemia. Instead of thinking only of herself during that time Gideon reaches out to an angry homeless person named Earl. Earl had some devastating things happen in his life that led to his homelessness and has given up on life. Gideon finds this unacceptable and asks God for a Christmas miracle that Earl will believe again. God gives Gideon that and so much more than she ever could of wished for. "Maggie's Miracle" is the second story in the series. Jordan Wright is a lonely 8-year old boy who lives with his mother and grandmother since his father passed away two years earlier. He asks God for a Christmas miracle to bring him a new daddy. Jordan's mother, Megan, reads the letter and realizes how the death of her husband has affected her little boy. She tries to spend more time with Jordan but realizes that she cannot do it all and signs him up for a Healing Hearts program that matches Jordan up with a special friend to help him. Casey Cummins is the guy that Jordan is matched up with. He has faced his own tragedies and it turns out that Jordan helps him as much as he helps Jordan. Megan has given up on love, and Casey and Jordan are determined to help her find it again. The ending has a surprise twist that proves that Casey is truly meant to be in their lives. I loved all four stories, but "Sarah's Song" is my personal favorite. The story is about Sarah Lindeman, an 86-year old woman who is dying of congestive heart failure. Sarah has decided to live her final days out in a nursing home where she can see the park bench that has meant so much to her. She has a 12-day Christmas tradition of un-wrapping a special ornament everyday and remembering her and Sam's story - a story of great love. She knows that this is her last Christmas and that she is supposed to help someone with this story before she dies. That person turns out to be Beth, who is going through a very difficult time in her life. She has given up on her marriage. She knows that if her story is heard by Beth, that a miracle will occur and Beth's life will be changed forever. The last story, "Hannah's Hope" delivers wonderfully too. Hannah is a lonely 15-year old girl who lives with
