A great reading for boys who like Star Wars

My son borrowed the first volume from the library. Turned out it was continued in vol 2. The library didn't have it and so my son bugged me until we got it. He couldn't put it down. I was glad to see him excited about a book and now he is taking care of it as a collector.

Get it before it goes out of print!

The Star Wars comic strip never ran in my hometown paper so I rarely got to see it. I was spurred to get this collection by a recent magazine article, and it was well worth it because these are very enjoyable Star Wars tales. Putting aside any questions of how these stories might fit into "the cannon", the Star Wars geek in me quite enjoyed the depiction of how the rebels identified Hoth as their new base planet as well as...

My 6 year old son and i read this before bed every night ... sharing my love for all things Star Wars it's a great way to share the expanded universe with him. Not as tight a story or as great as graphics as the newer comics, it still is an enjoyable read.
