The Puzzle of God

This is the perfect book to start with when studying philosophy of religion. Vardy covers all the main topics and does an excellent job of showing how they interrelate. His writing is clear, concise, and entertaining. Chapter review questions and suggestions for further reading make this text especially suitable for study or for use in a book club. (The questions are so engaging that I couldn't help but journal my answers.) The most enjoyable book I've read in a long time.
