The Protein Power Lifeplan Gram Counter

Following the extraordinary success of Protein Power, The Protein Power Lifeplan reveals how this evolutionary-based, protein-rich diet can be used to treat major health problems, including high cholesterol, diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and obesity. The Eades offer recipes, motivational advice, and a refined and expanded nutritional and lifestyle regimen, including a three-tiered approach to eating. These plans, the Hedonist (some health change with minimal effort), the Dilettante (the most benefit from the least effort), and the Purist (maximal benefit from maximal effort) help readers optimize their health by offering a framework of change they can accept and live by forever.

Great Guide to Meaningful Nutritional Numbers

I wish I'd had it when I started last year. It is especially handy if you are traveling on this diet; it is not as bulky as the whole Protein Power book. Great Pocket Guide, Wish it had weights

I am finding this handy little book very useful for knowing not only the Carbo content of a lot of food, but also the fat, types of fat and the total calories. Surprisingly, Butter is a good source for Omega 3 oils. My only wish is that they would include gram or ounce weights for the portions of food measured. For instance, how do I measure Eggplant slices by the cup? But overall, very helpful.
