The Prophecy Answer Book

This book targeted the current events leading up to The Rapture, The Tribulation, The Antichrist, Second Coming, Millenium and The New Heaven and Earth. Clearly this book was written as a reference mainly for the believer in Christ (Romans 10:9-11). I say this because it was direct in it's focus. The tone was less about teaching and more about stating Truth. There was a section or two appealing to those who have not yet made a decision for Christ which was refreshing and hopefully many will make that decision prior to The Rapture of the Church! The Pre-Tribulation Theory was discussed solely. Since I personally fall into the Pre-Trib crowd I was quite pleased with this discussion. Post-Tribulation Theory was not mentioned as far as I can recall. I also appreciated the explanation of the difference between Postmillennialism vs. Amillennialism and Premellennialism as explained on pages 170 & 171. After the initial surprise of ripping open the mailer and finding this petite hardback book (I wrongly assumed the book to be a "standard" size chock full of pages), I was quite impressed with this invaluable resource. I refer to it as a resource because of the order and inclusion of Scripture cross-referenced throughout its covers. I fully understand now thanks to this book what the Second Coming of Christ is going to be as well as the Rapture of the Church. Sometimes the order of these last day events can be confusing but Mr. Jeremiah gives a concise yet easy-to-understand explanation of the events. He also provides the order the events will occur as well as the historical and biblical accounts of the Jewish people as fore-told and prophesied in the Bible in the Old Testament. Fascinating to learn more about the Old Testament and what was not included directly about these events. On page 153 the author included a table titled Rapture/Second Coming Contrasts. This table is quite helpful for the believer especially! In the chapter The New Heaven and The New Earth I especially enjoyed reading about what we will do in Heaven (page 177). Of course this book contained meaty Truths from the Bible which were often hard to swallow but I did take away hope at the end of the book and direction for living victoriously in these evil days. Mr. Jeremiah explained with supporting Scripture references why true Christians do not have to fear death. And hope again in the fact that he gives us 10 things to do as we see the signs of the End Times. The very last item on his list is Reach The Lost (Jude 21-23 - love it!!!). Oh how I enjoy the last word in a book about Jesus coming back. The last word in this book is Revelation 22:20 which is indeed the last book in the Bible. For that and each and every word in this mini-marvel of a book I give Mr. Jeremiah five stars and a hearty thank you for informing the Body of Christ and speaking on a very hard topic. I honesty did not fully understand nor know much about what would happen at the end of time. Most of us do not as the book Revelations is somewhat hard to comprehend. It seems so unreal that these things would actually happen. But the cool thing about it is that these things that seem so unreal will be done by an "unreal" God. Through these "unreal" things He will show us that He is the all powerful God who reigns on heaven and earth. David Jeremiah's newest book, "The Prophecy Answer Book" is a Q & A smaller sized book. I found the print size to be on the smaller size and I believe that the book should have been a normal sized book instead of smaller. With it being smaller, it should stick out more on your bookcase compared to if you had a bunch of normal size books up on either side. Sometimes small can be good, but if you have to have small print in order to get a small book, you should consider the elderly and just go with a normal sized book. Jeremiah gave me clear answers as promised. I honestly did not really know much about the topic, so the Q & A format appealed to me. Jeremiah had a good foundation by backing up his words with Scripture. He was also able to keep my attention by using short paragraphs and quotes to keep me reading despite my busy schedule. Long chapters are one of my pet peeves, you see. Overall, I am quite happy with my selection. This is one book you will want to read many times to make sure you soak in all the information. I plan on using this book as a guide to help me understand and be able to help other people understand what is ahead for us. I found comfort in knowing what will happen and knowing where I am heading.

The Prophecy Answer Book This is a most handy little pocket-size reference book that answers just about any question one might have regarding biblical prophecy, signs of the end times, Christ's second coming, the Book of Revelation, and so forth. This would be an excellent addition to one's reference library. The Q & A format makes for easy reading and reference as it is divided into 7 categories: Current Events; The Rapture; The Tribulation; The Antichrist; The Second Coming; The Millennium; The New Heaven and the New Earth. I believe "The Prophecy Answer Book" would make a good tool for the believer to gain better understanding of what is true regarding prophecy (as opposed to some of the wild and not-so-wild theories that have been floating around for eons), but also for the nonbeliever who seeks to have a better understanding of why followers of Jesus Christ have so much to look forward to someday. The author, Dr. David Jeremiah, is the founder of Turning Point Radio and Television Ministries, as well as the senior pastor of Shadow Mountain Community Church. I highly recommend this reference book for anyone seeking to better understand biblical prophecy and the Book of Revelation.

The Prophecy Answer Book by Dr. David Jeremiah David Jeremiah handles this subject in a simplistic manner by making it digestable in bite size pieces for any person interested in Biblical Prophecy; you do not need to be a Bible scholar. The main topics of eschatology are Current Events, Rapture, Tribulation, Antichrist, Second Coming, Millennium, New Heaven & New Earth, Conclusion. The topical questions are what anyone pondering prophecy would ask themself. He uses scripture throughout his answers and takes the whole of the Bible to answer the question. He is not a date setter as to the date/time of the Second Coming but does explain where it fits in the Biblical Prophetic Timeline. He does not shy away from the topic of judgment and death. He clearly makes it known there will be a bodily resurrection for the believer as well as the non-believer. You have a free will to choose your eternal destination as God has clearly spoken that He wants no one to perish. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.
