The Prodigal Son's Seduction (Durante D'Agostino & Gabrielle Williamson) This is the second book in the trilogy. Durante & Gabrielle's story is more complex than the first book. Their story is more compelling than Leandro & Phoebe, but just as unique. In this book pay attention to the returning characters and characters being introduced. Durante is a very complex man with an anguished past. Like Leandro his past has been fueled by Castaldini, a place he loves but hates at the same time. Gabrielle is just as complex as Durante with just as much pain. Together they can take the pain away if they can get beyond their bitterness. I have read their story several times and each time I am mesmerized by this marvelous duo. As in Book One each story will tear your heart out and make you rejoice in the climax. This book is a five star read. A MUST read. FYI: Prelude to the Castaldini Crown Blackmailed into the Prince's Bed by Olivia Gates (Eduardo "Eddie" D'Agostino & Jade Mitchell) This is the Prelude to The Castaldini Crown I loved this online read at [...] I loved the story of Eduardo "Eddie" & Jade. In this story some of the characters from The Castaldini Crown are introduced. This story is very fast-paced but a great read. I wish this could have been a complete book. I loved Eddie and he seems to be a vengeful hero until he meets the right woman. You get a glimpse of what the trilogy is and what will happen. Make sure and pay attention because one character controls all these marvelous couples and you will fall in love with Eddie & Jade. As in the other stories this couple will make you cry and rejoice. This story is a five star read. A MUST read.

I'm finally reviewing this wonderful book, The Prodigal Prince's Seduction. I read the Castaldini Crown Trilogy books out of order, but it turns out that it doesn't matter one bit. Each book was wonderful and self-contained, equally passionate, and full of the vivid descriptions that Olivia Gates delivers, each and every time. Right from the first encounter, the main characters engage in playful, sexy banter. The setting for much of this book is New York, so it lends itself to a more casual interaction between the couple, compared to the other two books in the trilogy. Yet, their relationship was bubbling with chemistry the entire time. Durante is the most open to love of the three heroes in this trilogy. There is a yacht cruise that is spectacular and the author wrote brilliantly how he stayed awake, even though he was exhausted, just to be near her without even touching her. When he finally brought her home, the first kiss that he shared with her was incredibly passionate and all consuming. The depth of emotion and the pendulum swing from heated desire to self-loathing was so brilliantly written that my eyes stung with tears when he left her panting outside her door; she was so crushed. Their chemistry cracked throughout the entire book. I just loved those two together. And, in typical Olivia Gates fashion, the depth of character was brought out in such sultry sensuality, that I actually had to put the book down a few times just to get a drink of water and cool off. I guess it's no secret that I love Olivia Gates' fluid, deeply passionate style of writing. If you do too, you'll love this book. If you're not familiar with Gates, then run and read some. It's awesome! She blows me away every time and this time is no exception.
