The inability to understand the value of business processes is the pitfall of many reengineering projects especially in IT. Internalizing this book will certainly contribute to your future projects. A must in any business management library.

An easy read that delivers a high impact.

A straight forward, no nonsense, approach to viewing processes as capital nvestments, assets or liabilities and their impact on economic value add. Provides practical examples and insight on "how to" implement this methodology.

Excellent Source For Strategies In Process Change

This common sense approach to a very complex subject may at times seem to "easy" to be true. However, the solid examples, discussion of application strategies and comprehensive coverage of successful and less successful efforts give real substance to the theorectical discussion.

Excellent book on ADDING VALUE

I've never been disappointed in any of Peter G.W. Keen's work and this book is no exception. It is a very clear explanation on how to really add value when doing reengineering. Includes discussion of economic value add (EVA) and how it can be used to really add value. If you are familiar with the reengineering literature, this is a good book to put it all into practical perspective.
