The Power of Five

My book is on WITCH (The Power of 5). This book tells about how five girls meet and discover they have super powers. HayLin's grandmother YanLin told Haylin and her friends about she was a guardin of the veil. Later in the book they start a group and call themselves WITCH. As they learn how to use their powers they also fight in their first battle. In the book there are five main characters. Will, Irma, Taranee, Cornelia and HayLin. Will is the leader of the girls. She has the power to make things talk to her. Irma has the power of water. She kind of doesn't like Cornelia because Cornelia thinks about herself all the time. Irma is very smart and loves water. Next is Taranee, she has the power of fire. Taranee is smarl and whenever Irma and Cornelia get into arguments, Taranee's there to break it up and solve it. Cornelia is the popular selfish type of girl. She sometimes doesn't follow the rules. She has the power of earth. Last is HayLin, who has the power of air. Her grandma was once a guardina. HayLin has style with her clothes and she's very smart. HayLin sometimes can be brave wand sometimes she can be afraid. The problem in the story is that weird things start to happen to the girls and they don't know what is going on. One day HayLin's grandmother told them about how she had special powers and was the guardian of the veil which she has passed down to them. The girls begin to use their powers and become accustom. Their friend Elyon became missing after the big Halloween dance and their search began. Will, Irma, Tarnaee, Cornelia and HayLin are trying to find Elyon by fighting battles. At the end of the book they fight their first battle. What they don't know is Elyon was hiding behind a tree. She was watching their every move. The girls do not realize that she saw them. I like this book very much. I would recommend this book to another person because I think they should get to read it and experience the adventure. You can also watch the TV show that come on ABC Kids.

This boook is awesome! I loved all that I have read! I read books 1 through 6, and was extremely satisfied with what they gave me in words, comics, and even cards! It's one of those series where you can't put down any of the books until you're finished! I would recomend them to any girl over 8. If I could I would rate it 100 stars. Both me and my friends love these books, and if you read them I hope you do too!

I would totally recamend this book! It has great detail and I can see every thing happening inside my head. I love Hay Lin. My friend got all of us (my other friends and I) to read these books and nowwe relate each other to the charicters. We have such a great time with these books. I hope you will enjoy this book and the other books that follow it. They have comics inside that give you a better pitcher of the setting. Also they give a card of a charicter and the back tells you alot of info. about them. I hope you get and like this book!!!

This is a great book and i reccomend it, escpecialy to preteen girls! It is a new book, published in 2004. I bought books 1 and 2 and plan on buying 3,4, and 5. Each one included a card featuring a character from the book. I think you must read this book! Friendship plays a big role throughout these books!99.9 Stars!

I give this book 5/5 because it realates to real pre-teen lives, and attacthes some mystical add-ons to it. It's the BOMB!
