Very well done childrens bible, it is quite unique in that it is in a comic book style fashion. My kids love it ! Now it only tells certain stories of the bible and the wording is for children. Some people have remarked about this translation not being accurate (story with Lot for example)-But they are missing the whole point-certain things are left out or altered just a bit to make it child FRIENDLY. IF YOU WANT ACCURACY GO BACK TO YOUR KING JAMES. This in no way means that they are taught lies-they can learn the gory truth later in life when more appropriate.
5 years of Sunday School

This graphic novel format Bible is ideal for preschool and elementary age children. All our children loved it (see my image for wear and tear on our copy). The book sticks to the stories (poetry, letters, etc are only briefly mentioned) - as befits the format. Details unsuitable for young children are deftly skirted or mentioned non-graphically. The story is divided into many short episodes, a few pages each. These episodes were distributed to Sunday School children each week when I was growing up. Most episodes end in a cliff hanger - making us look forward to continuing the story each week. The book collects all the episodes into one volume. When reading it to younger children - you can read as many episodes as their attention span will handle, but be sure to stop at a cliff hanger.
