A moving exploration

There's so much I like about this collection of poetry. Thematically, O'Neill moves his readers from the wildness of nature to the conventions of civilization then into the wildness of "civil" society. What makes this collection a pleasure to read are the beautiful, intimate and daring images and scenes O'Neill shows us as we take this journey.
