If you do not currently live in that city and have easy access to their local resources, it is especially valuable. It is a great way to start identifying companies and job search resources in that region. Comapnies are listed by industry and size. Some companies even have HR contacts listed.But don't expect huge job search boosts from this--the job searching techniques section is not particularly good.
