I was pleased to read it once, though perhaps not enough for a re-reading

Solid true crime for fans of the genre. The picture of the town, its people, and the person who was almost certainly the murderer, is clear and compelling enough that the historian or casual reader with limited interest in true crime would also find it worth a read. I couldn't see myself re-reading it if only because the author did such a job of tying up the loose ends that I felt it was case closed.
