The Peace Ship: Henry Ford's Pacifist Adventure in the First World War

This book is for anyone who enjoys witnessing human folly and the hubris of the super rich and their acolytes. I only wish Leon Trotsky had been able to take this ship back to Europe for the Russian Revolution, but that would have reduced the folly aspect of it which is so rich with irony already. It is must reading for anyone interested in the beginnings of American foreign policy when the rest of the world began to actually take notice of it, so much of it having been driven by the Will of the People, not to mention the Provincialism and Ignorannce of the People.
