This is a wonderfully, simply written book on prayer that anybody can understand. Though perhaps an example or two is a bit dated, as it has been nearly 100 yrs since this book was written, so the author uses some examples that most people probably will not quite understand. There is much light that Chadwick gives on prayer, and I enjoyed what he had to say. However, I do feel there are stronger books on prayer by E.M. Bounds and Leonard Ravenhill that might take one deeper than this book does. Still though, one should not pass this book up.

The Path of Prayer
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 23 years ago
To anyone who would like to understand the ways of prayer and its life changing abilities, this book is a must. Samuel Chadwick is a classic writer who lived what he wrote and gives insight to the everyday man who needs it most. This is not a theology or a doctrinal writing, but a powerful call to any who would learn to converse with God. In his own words:"Not written for critics nor for scholars, but for plain peoople who are deeply religious and sincerely simple in their trust"I highly recommend it to all!
