This book is beautiful. The art work and the essays with each one carry the reader back to how it was. Very nostalgic. Appeals to older readers as well as young.

Ferrol Sams wrote several books about growing up in Georgia early in the last century, a period I have been interested in. If that is something you like, you will like this book and his others also. Good adventure and good life stories from the not so distant past.
Anything by Ferrol Sams is great!
