The Outlaw's Woman

Dena is a wonderfully strong, educated, enlightened woman living in a strict small town farm community in the late nineteenth century. She is able to rise above the local gossip, travel across country to attempt to free her man from being wrongly imprisoned, and strenuously work to keep her farm and animals. Thomas/Luke, who she loves, is sensitive and caring, the perfect man to stand by Dena and awaken her passions. The Outlaw's Woman is intelligently written and researched with much local color, depicting a vivid image of living in a rural German community in the 1870's. Sights and smells come alive. The foods make your mouth water. The chemistry between Dena and Thomas/Luke is palpable. Minor characters and subplots are interesting and humorous. The corn bag heating pad adds a warm touch to this steamy romance. (Yes, a corn bag does work.)This is a thoroughly enjoyable read with truly memorable characters. Congratulations to the author for not only writing vivid romantic scenes, but also adding interesting factual information. May Dena and Luke live happily ever after.
