I enjoyed the writings, more like prose, but I was looking for more factual experience and real information about what existence is like on the other side. I was a little disappointed in getting mostly beautiful imagery as one might achieve while meditating rather than factual references such as I have found in descriptions of near-death experiences or, even better, in-between-lives regressions. If you're looking for the latter information, I would suggest books by Dr. Michael Newton whose books reference hundreds of documented past-life and between-lives reports from patients under hypnosis. I also think it would be good if Mr. Shaw would give his readers more substance in each page and less 2-word lines and white space. I guess my expectations have gotten a little higher than what this book offers.
