I really enjoyed this book. Recommend it. Great story, insight into how people picked up the pieces and made new lives after horrible losses.

A Stunning Novel and Gripping Story of one teenage girls loss of her entire whole family, and their home.There is nothing left for her or of her family than a bombed out..deep crater, where her home once stood. She's all by herself..no where to go ..and thus begins her journey of finding a place to stay..and along the way an older grandfatherly gentleman that lived by her Grandma, and would exchange vegetables over the garden fence, find comfort and friendship, and a place to stay together, trying to help one another survive this horrible event.The story takes you through Ruby's life ..trying to focus on the now situation, and rebuilding her life as best she can. There are many twists and turns, in this wonderful story, some very good, some not, Its a story you'll love reading and will remember Ruby's fight for Life with a very nice ending. A excellent read, can't recommend it enough!! Loved the Authors writing and story line .5 stars all the way!
