The purpose of the book is to draw attention to the natural horse, and to show how the presence of substances it eats may affect its body systems, lower its immunity, influence the spread of disease and affect performance. Gray explains his information through using evidence such as illustrations, statistics, and research. Anyone who is interested in horses should read this book, but it is not only for beginners in the horse world but the professional also.
