We are gathered here not to mourn, but to celebrate our Nightshade Lexicons. My Nightshade Lexicon is a collection of poems cataloging the shapes of ghosts that haunt me, the kinds that haunt us all...the ghost of our ancestors, the ghosts of emotions like guilt and love, the ghosts of our failed relationships, the ghosts of our own hopes and fears, and many more. I invite you in to celebrate our miraculous, and yet, oh so common, human condition.
