exciting and important

This is a very honest look at children during the holocaust- their vulnerability and strength. It reminds me of my own father's story and the countless anonymous people whose actions-- big and small, intentional and unknowing-- helped him and much of his family survive the holocaust. I can imagine children- probably over age 8 (I'm in my 20's)-- as well as adults reading and keeping this story close to their hearts
