The New American Prosperity

I recently acquired a copy of Darby's latest book, The New American Prosperity. I'm glad I did! It has been a great reminder that life offers far more than bumps and bruises - that life gives a steady stream of opportunities and blessings. I very much enjoyed reading it (a one-day reading). This book gave me a new insight and great perspective to go forward with courage in these very challenging times. He gave me solid ideas to think about and his personal stories have helped me think about how I can stay happy, motivated and not get caught up so much in the day to day craziness of life. I feel like it has helped me already! - THANKS, Darby!

How to Deal Effectively with Road Bumps and Set Backs - Redefining Success

You may express the American dream as: Rich, famous, happiness, powerful, or recognition. Darby Checkouts asks the reader to replace false ambition by re-defining success. "The New American Prosperity" is a call for individuals, entrepreneurs, and influential community and government leaders to join forces to positively re-design our country's political, economic, social, and environmental "landscape." Darby maintains that bitterness, self pity, and sourness prevent happiness. He observes that anger and calm cannot co-exist, and that it is imperative that we deal with the deep rooted results of anger by exercising faith, will power, and love. The authenticity of Darby's faith comes through in his writing. His stories and illustrations are poignant, practical, powerful, and positive. Darby shows from personal example how to deal with set backs and road bumps in times of individual crisis. He offers timely counsel for getting back on track. "The New American Prosperity" is a refreshing reminder that: "Prosperity is about `feeling blessed'--blessed with good health, which you faithfully protect; blessed with sufficient financial resources to meet your most important needs; and blessed to have others in your life who lovingly join with you in the commitment to be just plain Smart and Happy." Top notch refreshing, inspirational reading.
