Carly Cooper has been married to her husband Mark Barwick for 7 years and has two young sons. She is bored with her life in London and when an ex-boyfriend who just happens to be a Hollywood star calls her to tell her his agent is interested in producing a movie about a book she wrote she hops on a plane to Hollywood. Carly and Sam were engaged once upon a time but are now just friends, at least they used to be.
