hilarious, devastating, hopeful, beautiful

She is so candid, like youve sat down to talk with her at dinner. She gives soo much insight into the industry and the iconic roles she has worked on, witnessing the devastation of the AIDS epidemic. I learned a lot from her story and she had me laughing and crying throughout. I highly highly recommend this book! Great gift for any actors in your life, especially young Black women. But honestly, anybody who understands the gifts Ms Lewis has given us over the years will enjoy this fabulous read.
