The BEST

I loved this book. The warmth and humor and emotional truth comes through beautifully. My Father's Geisha is just as wonderful. The book is both funny and poignant. You will fall in love with Teddy and wonderful sister Clara. I couldn't put it down and have purchased it for friends.

Exquisite storytelling!!

The first and second reviewer (I suspect the same individual) must not have much interest in anything outside of her/his own scope of experience. I am reading this book for the second time - I am so impressed with James Gordon Bennett's expertise at storytelling. I had to rush to my Taipei American School yearbook and see if his picture was there. I also read and loved "My Father's Geisha." This story is funny, sensitive, indicative of the times and an all around entertaining tale. Find out for yourself - you won't be sorry!

A Testament

A book of sheer quality and splendor. My Fathers Geisha. I wish some people could read it and find it to be an utterly down right pleasing novel. Even though this book looks like it barely sold any copies at all please don't think it's bad. Some of the best books are hard to come by. If you liked Thelma And Louise read this book. You'll like it a lot.
