Good Read

While being an avid reader of the paranormal and sci-fi genre, i found this story to be very intriguing. It has all the right stuff: mystery, romance, and the necessary imagination needed to write a story like this. While reading from this genre, if I can see myself right along side of the heroine, it's a very good book. Ms Starr did that. It's a must read.

Good Sci-Fi Interacial Romance

This book was very entertaining. I really got drawn into the characters and wished that I was dating J.M. I loved the idea of soulmates, so I was hooked while reading that theme. The characters were amusing and you got the opportunity to really get drawn into their thoughts and feelings. It dragged at some parts, but all in all, it was well-worth the read. Enjoy.

Memorable Love Story

This book started out a little slow, but don't put it down....you are missing a memorable love story. I love a good romance and this one left me thinking about it for weeks afterward! The story telling was amazing!

Great Sci-Fi Read

It is really hard for me to like romance books because their usually all the same. But this one was different. This Sci-Fi story about an alien & an earthling coming together was very entertaining.

I found this review. Hope it helps.

SYNOPSIS: The princess of a faraway planet is determined to make an Earthling her mate, in this exciting and engaging intergalactic romance. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PARANORMAL ROMANCE |4+| Marguerite Lemons -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- REVIEW: Verena Tovick-Ra, along with the sisters of Vixen, have come to Earth on a mission to find suitable mates after all the males on their planet died from a mysterious plague. Jordan Mitchell, Jr., an agent for the FBI's secret Project Discover, hears his fellow agent declare him lost in space when the spacecraft he is checking out suddenly takes-off without warning. Jordan awakens to find him, and fifty other men, traveling through the universe with a ship full of beautiful women, who just happen to believe that men are inferior and only good for one thing. He constantly butts heads with Verena, who decides to take him as her mate when he is rejected by the others because he is white. Jordan and Verena are attracted to one another, but Jordan refuses to accept her as his mate and they enter into a battle of wills. When Verena's life is at stake, will Jordan come to her rescue? And when the ship is attacked will Jordan and the other men ban together and help the Sister's of Vixen overcome their would be captor's? MISSION poses the question of whether or not there is intelligent life on other planets in the universe. The story begins in New Orleans, on the banks of the Bayou Savage, after hurricane Katrina; but you are not made aware of this fact until after the ship has taken off. It shows that relationships are complicated, no matter the species, and will only work if both are willing to compromise. Changing the "status quo" is another theme featured. When I began to read this story I thought this was going to be too far-fetched and boring, but as the story progressed I found the plot to be well thought out, the interaction between the characters entertaining, and the imagery remarkable. If you love science fiction and romance, but have never thought of putting the two together, Ms. Starr has written the perfect book to get you hooked. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [email protected] | 27th August 2007
