Having Pain? Get On the Ball!

The Miracle Ball Method: Relieve Your Pain, Reshape Your Body, Reduce Your Stress [2 Miracle Balls Included] is a method of pain relief developed by Elaine Petrone after struggling with her own terrible back pain. The key for her, and no doubt many, proved to be proper breathing and decreased muscle tension. Soooo... The Goal: reduce muscle tension that's causing the pain The Formula: Weight + Breathing = Release of Tension How Accomplished: Lay on one or more of the balls in a specified spot (although the book encourages you to experiment), breathe properly, and relax. The ball is just a tool to help you feel the weight of your body. Don't be turned off by the fact that the book is over 200 pages long- after a brief introduction and a short section on breathing, the vast majority of the book is made up of pictures showing you exactly how to do the exercises. Additionally, its a tiny book and therefore has short paragraphs on each page. I would have to say that this book will likely benefit many people with chronic pain. Muscle tension is either the major cause of a lot of pain, or at least present due to another cause. Either way, treating muscle tension and learning how to relax will take a big bite out of your pain. Readers with foot pain may also be interested in The 5-Minute Plantar Fasciitis Solution. It surprised me!

After reading through the book, I wasn't sure that I would take the time necessary to find results. However, I tried it before I fell asleep one evening. I expected shoulder blade pain from painting the day before, placed the ball between my shoulder blades, relaxed, fell asleep (no, Ms. Petrone did not say to sleep on the ball), and awoke in the morning with the ball next to me and no knots in my upper back! For that alone, this ball is worth it!

The Portable Miracle Ball Method

Elaine's products are wonderful. I have the portable method and I also have the regular Miracle Ball. I believe that both of these, which come with books have a lot of valuable information, that this should be sold as a set. I have an older DVD, which is good for a visual, then when you read the books, you have a better idea of how to work with the balls. Have sent this as a gift to my daughter and she was impressed. Have lent them to someone that could hardly walk and she was so impressed as the ball hits the pressure points with such ease. JMS

Worth Every Penny....It Really, Really Works!

I purchased this on vacation and was thrilled to discover it truly is miraculous. I suffer from TMJ and back problems, both of which were relieved. Anyone suffering from TMJ, spinal pain (cervical/thoracic/lumbar, etc may want to try this. I went to a dentist, who said he could cure my TMJ in six months for $4600.00 (yes, $4600.00!) After only one session with the miracle ball, 85% of my pain had subsided. You can use it in the car too. My only criticism is that the ball reeks of that gross plastic stank. However if you put it in a clean sock, it helps defer the smell. I look forward to using the original miracle balls. Check it out.

Simple healing and stress relief

I was very curious about these balls - especially after reading the reviews here. I have had achy hips and knees for a long time now. Yoga helps me tremendously, but occasionally, even that is not the cure all. After reading through the little booklet, I put these things to work: following the instructions for hips, I placed the balls under my hip area and simply laid on them and breathed. That is all I needed to do. As soon as I started relaxing, I noticed something - on my left side, which is where I have the knee problem, I realized that I had more tension on that side of my body than on my right. It was obvious to me that my knee was overcompensating for the tightness on my left hip - and this was contributing to my issue. So, I continued with the balls and after a few days - presto - looser hips, knee pain GONE! These balls help to realign the body and dissolve muscular tension. It doesn't take much time out of your day (perhaps about 15 minutes) but it can make a big difference in how you feel.
