Touching Romance with Underdog Gets Her Man

Tender, touching romance especially for any woman how sat in the background to her more glamorous, popular friends. Yet Amy is no push over and her loving care of her Grandmother who is suffering progressive stages of Alzheimer's is well done. And J T Hunt learns a lot about himself, loving and life as he draws closer to Amy. As the first reviewer said, there is a ton packed in this story: emotions and love all packed in these 248 pages. Well worth the read even by those who love longer books.

Surprisingly Deep

First of all, if you're looking for romance, this has it. In spades. There's a reluctant hero who comes to understand what love is. There's a tender-hearted yet strong-as-steel heroine who can't believe her fortune in finding the hero. At the same time, there's a very serious subplot which deals with dimensia in the elderly. Amy, the heroine, has a beloved grandmother who is slowly but surely losing her mental functions. It's a heartbreaking and all too real plot. The sub characters in this Cinderella story are also not what one would expect. The cool-blonde step sister is actually cool. The evil stepmother, though not up for best stepmother in the world, is also just fine. The story was well written. Highly recommended. (*)>
