They arrive at the camp..and Ana and Ester are Fortunate enough to stay together to help birth the babies that are born in Auschwitz..Here they face unbelievable heartache..as..the Jewish babies that are born..just about take their first breath...and are immediately drowned in a bucket of water ! The other babies ...that are very Aryan looking..are snatched away..hrs or a day or two after being born..to be taken to Germany couples ..to help Re populate Germany as all the young Soldiers are off to war. Ester gets the idea to tattoo the babies under their armpits...with their mothers number ..in Hope's when the war is over..some how..some way..they might be found and reunited. There are many Characters and details of each..that you can't help to be drawn to..and rooting for them..throughout their unbelievable ordeal of the Brutality at the camp.
