The McCaffertys: Randi I am a HUGE fan of Lisa Jackson and was thrilled to find very many of her books at a very reasonable price and knowing that the shipping is always the same amount.

Randi McCafferty is taking great pains to not reveal the father of her illegitimate child. But when attempts are made on her life her brothers hire investigator Kurt Striker to guard her and find out who the father is. My problem? In the beginning of the book Kurt, hidden, is watching Randi feed her baby. She gets up, puts her child to bed & returns, spotting Kurt & yelling at him and THEN realizes her nightgown is open to the waist. No way could a woman do all that & not know her gown was open. But my main problem is that it's mentioned several times in the book that Randi is unable to breast feed since she was in a coma. So she was giving her baby a bottle when she was half dressed?

Lisa Jackson wound this series up with great heart and a solid storyline. As always, there is a tinge of sadness that the series is over, but she left the door open to future continuation in the McCaffery saga. Kudos and well-done.
