The Mayflower Adventure

This is the first of The American Adventure series, a series of books about everyday life during important times from the crossing of the Mayflower, to the end of World War II. This book is about John & Sarah Smythe, and their trip to the New World in the Mayflower. They face dangers like Disease, Storms, Drowning, and Indians. It also shows how helpful Squanto was in keeping the Pilgrims alive. This one wasn't as good as some of the others in the series, because they spent the entire time on the boat, but it was still good. If you are going to read the series, I suggest you start with this one.

The American Adventure series is a great way to teach history to your kids in an exciting way! We use the series as part of our history lessons while we home school our six kids. The series shows history from a Christian view piont.

If you like adventures, here's a book for you!It's about a family that moved from Holland to America. They faced storms, sadness, and sickness at sea, and then they finally land in America. I liked the main charcter, a boy named John, who faced many trials and was very brave.
