Capturing some of the essential wisdom of Taoist/Zen thought is a major task. How many tomes have been written already to communicate what is really important about how to live life well? This one is so simply written that you think when you start that so slim a book can't possibly take one anywhere profound. But then you find yourself becoming more and more caught up as you discover that it is in the simple things, gifts and lessons of life that wisdom and joy really reside.Try these quotes:The Master told his pupil: "Life is sorrow. Death is sorrow. Sorrow is grief and pain. Grief and pain hide wisdom.Wisdom is liberation from passion. Liberation from passion is the finding of moderation. Moderation is Right Joy.
