Teriffic

I have seen the movie seven times, read the book once (since I only just got it a day ago), and heard the soundtrack numerous times. And I love them all. This book is teriffic! There are some strong likenesses to the original novel ("The Mark of Zorro") in it that are very humerous, and they filled out the loose ends in the movie... such as, Where'd Elena get all that money in the end? (It turned out as I thought it would.) This book is a must-have for fans of the movie or just Zorro fans in general. I'm going to read it again, and again, and again, and...

"Watch" the book

This book is wonderful, just like the movie! If you want the parallel of the movie, that includes a little more detail, read this, I love the movie and while reading this, I could see the entire thing in my head.

Excellent novelization of the movie "The Mask of Zorro"

The novelization of "The Mask of Zorro" is an excellent novelization of the movie, and at times, even clearer than the original. Thanks to my investigations on the Internet, I've come across various versions of Zorro, each with a different take on how Don Diego de la Vega became Zorro, and I believe the author of the novelization used the version which ran on the Family Channel (and which went off the air before I got interested in Zorro). The explanation of how Diego became Zorro, and the explanation of why Elena tried to stop Diego from killing Montero near the end, serves to clarify things that were confusing to me in the movie. I learned that Elena wanted Montero to tell her who her real father was. Oh, and I also liked the way the writer used a scene from "The Mark of Zorro" movie -- where Diego tells Lolita about his servant who's a wonder at the guitar, and where Lolita mentions her maid who's passionately fond of music. Here, Alejandro's the one who claims to have the good guitar-playing servant, and Elena's the one who has the maid. It's rather funny. I suggest anyone who's seen the movie get the book. It's excellent, and very clear. Belle Book

AN EXCITING, EXHILERATING RIDE!!!

FRANK LAURIA author of Alaska and Dark City has done it again with MASK OF ZORRO. Crisp, exciting writing that will delight kids of all ages. I liked it better than the adult version, and am looking forward to more novels by Mr Lauria. Fabulous!

Great adventure story, easy and fun to read!

This book is the single one that I have read in only two days. It is smart, and written with skill. It is a very fun and suspenseful, a real adventure tale. I believe anyone can enjoy The Mask of Zorro weather old or young. I am very happy with the book, and plan to read it again.
