An excellent analysis of the state of Christian religion today. This book is so factual, so down-to-earth, and so inclusive in its analysis that I cannot understand why it is out of print. Maybe Florence Bulle has made enemies by speaking the truth. A must read for all christians as it it a great perspective-focuser.
Good Message - Good Use of Scripture

It is amazing to me how many horrible books you can now find in the Christian bookstore while so many good books are so hard to find. Florence Bulle's book is among them. Although I still have around 60 pages to finish it, I have been very impressed so far. I think the best chapter of this book is probably chapter one, "Following Jesus for Fun and Profit." In this chapter, Ms. Bulle denounces the methods used by many pastor's and evangelists to increase giving. Among them is the idea of always getting a financial blessing in return. According to Ms. Bulle, Paul talks about giving to destitute saints not deserving projects. Chapter two dealt with the flawed idea that we are to praise God in everything. However using verses such Isaiah 5:20 she explains logically why this flawed thinking can become a major problem for Christians. There are also two chapters on submission and a chapter on relationships with friends. Ms. Bulle is extremely knowledgeable, logical, and easy to understand and this book would be a great edition to any Christian's library.
