It ain't THAT bad!

OK, don't be put off by my lackluster title. The book is pretty good. First point for reading this book: be a Jayne Ann freak like me. Second, acknowledge that these stories are dated re-issues and deal with it! Now for the review...I liked the first story "Fabulous Beast" better than the second story. In the first story, Tabby is a single, innocent woman on a cruise. She rescues a fellow passenger and incorrectly assumes that he is meek and mild-mannered like her. Clearly, he is not. Krentz does not leave the reader with a clueless heroine (she DUMPS him!) and the hero does the decent thing by falling in love with Tabby. To be perfectly honest, it's been awhile since I read this book so I don't recall alot of the second story's plot. Suffice it to say that the story was not as good as the first but not a total snore. If you find the book on the sale shelf, buy it and enjoy.

Romantic Intrique

I bought this book and have thoroughly enjoyed each of the stories. Each story contains a strong heroine and hero. Not only are these romance stories, but they are also full of intrique and suspense. These are definitely one of my favorite book purchases thus far.

Double Pleasure

Even though this was a reissue. I have throughly enjoyed both stories. This is the worth the buy.

Printing Errors

The two stories have been published before. They are somewhat dated, but entertaining. My real problem with the book is the misspellings in the second story. The word seance was always printed as "s;aaeance." There were misspelled words on almost every other page. It was very annoying. Doesn't anyone check these things before publication? I bought the book at Wal-Mart and will not bother to ask for my money back, but if it had been at a bookstore then I would.
