The Magic Telescope

Not one of my favorite Tubby books, though being a fan of Dipsy, it's hard to resist (Dipsy looks through the telescope to see soft furry rabbits!!!)

My 18-month-old daughter LOVES this book. Especially the page with the ball on it. Even though it is short, she makes me read it to her over and over again. Actually, I'm pretty glad it is short! LOL

One day, Dipsy finds a telescope. Who all does he see? All his friends in Teletubbyland, of course! This touch-and-feel book is virtually indestructable! My 18 month old has read and re-read it since Christmas and it still appears brand new. "The Majic Telescope" book is very well made and very well written for little ones. With an average of 10 words per open page, this book is able to hold a toddler's interest. The illustrations are wonderful as well, with beautiful bright colors to intrigue children (and maybe even help them learn "red", "green", etc). This book was worth every penny spent!

...The Teletubbies originated in Britian, where it is"ok" for men to carry bags.....my son loves the Teletubbiesand has enjoyed this touch and feel book. I would encourage other parents to introduce the teletubbies to their babies/toddlers.

No, it is not a misprint. Tinky Winky's favorite thing is the red bag you described. I seriously doubt your 2-year-old knows or cares that in the grown-up world, only women carry purses. My daughter also loves Teletubbies and this book is more interesting to her than "Pat the Bunny," another tactile book, which may be classic, but "worn out" -- in my opinion.
