The Loneliest Girl in the Universe

This novel really took me through so many plot twists and I loved every minute of it! The cover of the book is so unique. I really enjoyed the details of the landscape around the main character, Romy; it was like being on the ship with her. I would recommend this to anyone who likes sci-fi (or science in general) and to anyone who likes a good novel full of suspense!

Recently I have been on a space/intergalactic kick with movies and books. I am usually not a huge fan of fiction novels but this book has changed my views completely! I read this book within a span of two days— it reads very well but I also found myself so intrigued to read page after page becoming more engrossed with the refreshing plot line. The main character, Romy, is one a large majority of readers can and will relate to. This novel and all of its contents swayed far from the usual cliches young adult novels play into— Lauren James’ plot and characters were cut from a new cloth and I was engulfed in her smooth writing style. Also the aesthetics of the front cover of this book I so appreciate, it looks so good on my book shelf— in this case, definitely judge a book by its cover.
