The Little Gift Book of Canada

I truly enjoyed this small guidebook. It is essentially a beautiful small picture- album showing primarily the great variety and beauty of the Canadian landscape. From British Columbia on the West to Nova Scotia and the Maritimes on the East through the Rockies, the Prairies, Ontario. Its last chapter is on Newfoundland and the Northern Territories. The text is enthusiastic and touristy, and we are given essentially a guide for the visiting sightseer. A pleasurable little treat of a book, and one which enables the unlikely traveler like myself to ' see a bit of the world' from his own chair at home.
