The Life of Andrew Jackson: Complete in One Volume (The Border Captain & Portrait of a President)

This book is so very well written in 1938. Not only have I learned a great deal about this heroic patriot. I’ve learned some important U S history. ie, War of 1812. Battle of New Orleans, Revolution, Sam Houston and the annexation of Texas to U S, The Banking system. General/President Jackson was patriotic, loyal, determined, loved his family, brave. Awesome character. This book should be in every home library and read. One of the very best books I’ve ever read. Not fast reading but very well written.
