The Legend of Korra – Turf Wars Part Two (Team Avatar Must Stop Tokuga)

The Legend of Korra –Turf Wars Part Two continues with Korra, Tenzin, Jinora, Ikki, Meelo, Kai, and another airbender riding Oogi into the spirit portal. The conversation between Ikki and Meelo is hilarious. When they enter the Spirit World, they discover how decimated the lands are. Korra is disappointed about the state of the Spirit World after her visit there with Asami. Tenzin acknowledges and supports Korra’s relationship with Asami. As Jinora meditates, Korra reveals that the spirits have destroyed their home to send a message to humans. They absolutely do not want humans in their world. Ikki touches a weed, and it attacks her. Korra firebends at the plants, providing cover for the airbenders. Oogi safely flies everyone out of the Spirit World only to discover General Iroh, Firelord Zuko’s grandson, ordering his men to set up a metal perimeter. Korra and Tenzin address General Iroh about the barrier, stating it worsens the circumstances between humans and spirits. Despite General Iroh’s best intentions, he can’t undo his actions without President Raiko’s command. Korra storms to face President Raiko. Meanwhile, Mako and Bolin turn in their report to Lin. Lin reads about Tokuga heading west after the dragon-eel spirit attacked him and Korra’s romantic kiss with Asami. Lin is intrigued by both pieces of information but still yells at Bolin for his terrible writing. Mako suspects that Wonyong Keum is working with Tokuga. Lin declines Mako’s idea to bring Wonyong in for questioning, claiming Mako needs solid proof that he is involved in this affair. Refusing to give up, Mako and Bolin drop in on Two-Toed Ping in prison, asking where the Triple Threats’ hideout is. Bolin realizes that the Triads use children to pass messages between members. It’s sweet when Mako compliments Bolin. Meanwhile, Asami and Zhu Li oversee the creation of the housing development. Behind them, President Raiko and Wenyan reveal the plans for the Raiko Residencies to a crowd of people. The evacuees want to know when the building will be done. Wenyan guarantees that they will have homes at the end of the month even though Asami and Zhu Li said it would take a few months to complete. Of course, the high and mighty politicians promise what they can’t accomplish, and Zhu Li privately calls Raiko out on it. Korra and Tenzin arrive to argue with Raiko that putting up a wall around the spirit portal will only separate spirits and humans and accelerate their spirit crisis. It’s hysterical how Korra metalbent a cover for Wenyan’s mouth. President Raiko turns the Republic City residents against Korra by blaming her for opening the spirit portal, having Kuvira destroy the people’s homes, and going on a vacation when everyone needs her the most. Tenzin and Asami argue that Korra’s done a lot of good for Republic City. Without her, they would be living under Kuvira’s rule. Korra, Asami, Tenzin, and Zhu Li retreat to Asami’s office. Tenzin suggests that Zhu Li run for president, and Korra and Asami consent. When Korra and Asami are alone, Korra tells Asami about the state of the Spirit World. Regardless of the world being against the Avatar, Asami agrees to have Korra’s back. In the meantime, Mako and Bolin patrol the streets, searching for an old friend while Bolin monologues. Bolin hit the nail on the head regarding Mako’s discomfort and anger about his ex-girlfriends being in a relationship. Skoochy runs when Mako spots him, and Bolin sprints after him. Bolin earthbends a wall to block Skoochy from escaping. Skoochy scales the wall and runs right into Mako. The brothers want to know where Tokuga and the Triple Threats are hiding. Mako plays the good cop, and Bolin plays the bad cop. Skoochy’s answer determines whether people die at the hands of Tokuga. Skoochy discloses that Tokuga is concealed at the abandoned dock at Pier 31. Bolin is excited, while Mako calls for backup. Asami reviews the blueprints when she hears someone by the window. She has a surprising me
