The Late Starters' Club

Well I guess I was "Oops Factor" number one but fortunately I grew up to be one of the "Beloveds". I love everthing this wonderful lady writes and am proud to be her daughter. The Late Starters' Club is a great sequel to "When the Cat Had My Tongue" and for all those who enjoyed the first book I highly recommend the second. These two books cover a time which has since gone and without books like these which combine emotions of love, happiness, sadness, wit and laughter we would only be left with the "boring history books" to give us some kind of insight into these periods. I am so glad that Diana has taken the time to write it down not only for her family but for all those who are interested in different life-styles. A GREAT READ for one and all.

This is exactly the kind of book that I love. It's a look back at a time forgotten by so many of the younger generation - and what a look back she gives us! My mother grew up in this era and as a little girl I remember much of what she writes about. It's beautifully written and a joy to read. Bravo!
