Different than the movie but better

The relationship between George VI and his speech therapist was, according to this book written by the grandson of the therapist was both longer and closer than in the movie. Don't expect any dramatic rifts in there relationship or quarrels to be resolved - there weren't any. But the King needed Lionel Logue for much of his adult life. This is a speech therapist who also worked as an unlicensed psychotherapist for the King and in so doing helped make him a great monarch through England's most difficult time in it's history. Well worth the little money and the the time. Definitely 5 stars.
