Superb storyline

I have not been disappointed when picking up a book in this series. I have read the A.D. Chronicles, most of The Covenants series and all of Zion Legacy. The authors have a flawless ability to bring you into the moment. They captivate the reader with very well written descriptions capturing scene after scene where they leave you wondering what can possibly top this turn of events, and then giving another dynamic story line to add even more depth. Loved this series w/ Alfie being a favorite character who is portrayed by others someone who may not be the swiftest of mind but has immeasurable levels of kindness and caring as part of his character, but also has the ability to comprehend the moment by processing the direction of his thoughts encompassing much goodness lead by his belief in God.

Unbelievable Finish to a great series

This series as well as the previous, the Zion Covenant, are fantastic. You truely feel like part of the story, and most facts are accurate. I love reading about this time period in history, and the Thoene's do a fantastic job. Enjoy!

Great book!

I read this series when I was in the seventh or eight grade. I found this to be a REALLY good series. It has a little bit of everything to make it a truely captivating book. It has historical facts in it, along with some of the Jewish language, romance, and lots of adventure! While I was reading this series, my father and I would sit around and discuss the books at night. I definatly recommend this book if you want something really good to read!

The best book books I have ever read

The Zion Covenant and Cronicle books are all very inspiring. It helped my faith more than any other Christian book I have ever read. I couldn't put any of the books down. These are the exact kind of books you want in your Church library. Bodie Thoene's books are the best books I have ever read. She is clearly my favorite author.

Five stars isn't enough!! I've never read anything better

Never have I come across a better author. Bodie Theone (tay-nee) is truly amazing. These books are full of drama. It's like the characters became my friends. When I finished the series, It felt as though I lost some good friends. I really don't know if I could be as entertained, enlightened and fulfilled by reading anything else after reading this series. Originally I was checking the series out one at a time from the library. But when I realized I'd finally found something I couldn't put down, I figured I better buy the whole series. I have never bought books before, because I've never found anything worthy of being read more than once. I was just so compelled and I want to share her writings with all my friends and family. She's spectacular. So is anything written by her husband Brock, who helps her co-write everything. It's almost like watching a movie, because there are so many plots intertwined. I was shocked to read the epilogue in RETURN TO ZION. You'll have to find out for yourself. Just don't start reading in the middle of the series. If I could never read another authors works but one it would be the Theone's. - Megan Villa

Excellant series a must read for anyone interested in Isreal

I would highly recommend that you purchase all five books in the series at the same time. I read the first one and was hooked. Each book ends as a cliff hanger for the next one. They are historically accurate, and you feel you are living through the struggle of the people of God to establish a homeland. As a non Jewish reader, I learned a great deal and would highly recommend this series.
